company developed a new innovative e-business model, "Business to
Retailer", in the arena of international trade. Our model is well
suited to cope with the changes in the world distribution market following
the incredible growth of Internet. As the off-line traders transform their
traditional roles in our newly designed model and harmonize themselves
with e-business environment, they could maximize the synergy effect and
their profit.

"First B2R" directly supplies small quantities of various
kinds of products to a great number of retailers in the world and
aims at providing those products to anywhere in the world with the
most competitive price and in the quickest way possible.
The world market now faces the unparalleled
changes in its distribution system. While the mega distribution companies
have the capacity of outsourcing directly from the overseas suppliers
in substantially low prices, the small retailers have been losing their
competitiveness, as they have to procure the goods through the traditional
distribution channel connecting importers and wholesalers. Accordingly,
the small retailers are trying to outsource their sales items directly
from the producers, but since the handled items are numerous and ordered
in a small quantity, it has been realistically impossible to do so.
From the perspective of the small & medium sized producers wishing to export their products, actual implementation of the export has been difficult to say least, due to, among other things, the lackluster attitudes of the international traders on small quantity items, insufficient inner company personnel pool, difficulties in finding buyers, and unfamiliar overseas marketing environment. Even the refurbished goods and stock items of the companies have incurred additional logistics costs such as storage charges and hindered the cash liquidity flow at the same time.
In this environment, "First B2R" plays a bridging role between the small & medium sized producers and exporters in one side and the small retailers in the other side, thus raising the competitiveness of the retail outlets by providing various kinds of items quickly with lower supply cost in one hand, and opening new export avenue for the small & medium producers and exporters in the other hand.
Additionally, going one more step from mere exchange of products, the web site of "First B2R" assigns personal account to all the participants, including "overseas retailers" who purchase various kinds of products through 'www.firstb2r.com', "vendors" who supply products to FirstB2R, and "agents" who promote FirstB2R site among retailers. They all can check their business status any time any where. Furthermore, First B2R is committed to establishing web communities where the members of the same category group can freely share and exchange live information on products and markets.
Especially for the venders who supply their own products to the First B2R, we have created the Vender Club in a separate Korean website(www.firstb2r.co.kr) to let them register their products freely and to promote the development of their relationships. I have started my own business with a conviction that the change in the next ten years would be greater than that of the last fifty years and also with the belief that only those practicing ceaseless self-innovation will grow further in such a rapidly changing digital environment.
Engaging in international trade related work for more than a decade, my greatest wish has been that domestic small & medium sized producers with little capacity for overseas marketing obtain new means and methods of exporting their products like other large companies. By combining this hope with a new communication tool 'Internet', I have created a new concept of business model in international trade and named it "BtoR"(Business to Retailer).
If the new model is activated, it will change the existing distribution system and make it possible for all the participants including producers, exporters, and retailers to share the benefits. Our company, in the other hand, will continuously develop our Internet technology with the belief that the technology will change the frame of economy and the status of enterprises and consumers.
Especially, in relation to the implementation of our new business model, we will concentrate our research efforts on the development and application of the systems enabling customer relation management(CRM) and point of sales management(POS). In the future, the small & medium sized companies, by using these technologies, could be interconnected in networks like spiderweb so that they can buy and sell the products from anywhere in the world. And our company, First B2R, will grow to be the mega supply company providing items to the worldwide retailers through this system.
We will return the maximum value to the shareholders by substantially increasing the company value of First B2R. In addition, we will do our best to give the greatest satisfaction possible to our staffs and employees who work hard and share the spirit, to our vendors who supply products to us, and to our customers who purchase our products and services.
